Winston 4-H received much acclaim from MSU Extensions prior to the covid 19 global pandemic by initiating the state’s first 4-H Kayak club, and receiving the state’s first club charter. Of course this effort was not undertaken for recognition, but to educate young people on various aspects of the outdoors, and safe boating.
