Winston County hosts State 4-H Camp

Winston County played host to the first ever 4-H E.A.R.T.H camp last week. E.A.R.T.H. standing for Environmental Awareness through Recreation, Technology and Health. MSU Extension administration ask Winston County Extension agent Jim McAdory to serve as chairperson to organize the camp anywhere in the state he chose.

Local 4-H Club making Mississippi History

In 2019, a group of young people and parents approached the Winston Extension office with an idea for a new 4-H Club, a kayak club. With Mississippi 4-H never having implemented such a club the county staff ask MSU 4-H administration for the go ahead on forming this new club concept.
