The Winston Cattlemen’s Association (WCA) is moving forward with the Fall programming schedule. Despite Covid still remaining an ever-constant concern on everyone’s mind, WCA Board of Directors is ensuring the association continues its educational efforts for Winston cattle producers.
Last week’s program was full of great information. WCA Board member Mr. Ty Fulton was the featured speaker and did a great presentation on cattle pregnancy testing. WCA Vice President Ms. Brenda Goodin lead the night’s program, and conducted the association business meeting.
The night also, got even better with the return of the WCA President Mr. Mike Robertson. Mike spoke to the Association and offered his appreciation for all the prayers and well wishes he’s received during his absence. We look forward to Mike’s continued success, and leadership of the Winston Cattlemen’s Association.
WCA would like to thank Barbara’s Place Nursery, and Winston County Firewise for sponsoring the night’s meal. We could not be an effective association without our community’s support. Barbara and Stanley, we appreciate all you do to support the farming community within Winston County.
As usual the food was great. We’d like to thank Robin’s Catering for a fantastic hamburger steak meal. Lastly, a huge thank you to the City of Louisville’s Parks and Recreation crew for allowing us to meet at the Louisville Coliseum and set up assistance.
Next months program is on the books. We’ll meet at the City of Louisville’s multi-purpose building, and I can guarantee we’ll have a great program on tap. If you’d like more details on the WCA November program, or join WCA, call 662-773-3091.
WCA is one of the state’s finest County cattlemen’s associations, so come join us and let us help you make your farm more efficient, and of course profitable.
