Webster County’s unemployment rate increased nine-tenths of a percentage point during June, according to preliminary data from the Mississippi Department of Employment Security. The jobless rate here was 3.6% in June, which compares to 2.7% (revised) in May and 4% in June 2023. The 12-month moving average is 2.9%.
