It was reported that the District has achieved unitary status and is no longer under the order. No action was required on this matter.

Supervisors discuss lease of former Hardwire building

Supervisors grant funds to Hospital Board

In their meeting of Monday, May 6, the Choctaw County Board of Supervisors met with members of the Choctaw Regional Medical Center Board of Trustees who were requesting a grant from the County in the amount of $649K. Medical Center CFO Steve Maranelli reported that the hospital is able to meet its operating costs, but not to satisfy the debt.

Aspire Mississippi Team helps to beautify Ackerman
