Tigers extend baseball winning streak to five

The Noxapater baseball team entered the week riding a five-game winning streak thanks to four wins last week, including a 23-1 road win over region foe McAdams on Saturday.

This week is a key one for the Tigers, as they were set to host region foe Ethel on Monday, before hitting the road to face EHS on Thursday.

The Noxapater High School baseball team is looking to turn a pair of convincing wins into an extended winning streak this week as the Tigers are set to host Kemper County in a double-header Friday beginning at 4 p.m., then pay a visit to McAdams for a noon contest on Friday.

The Nanih Waiya baseball team split a pair of games last week, holding on for an 11-9 win over Houston on Thursday before falling to Millry (Ala.) 8-4 on Saturday.

This week the Warriors, weather permitting, were set to visit Houston on Tuesday and Lake on Friday before hosting Heritage Academy on Saturday in a 1 p.m. contest.
