Spring scrimmage pleases Noxapater’s Rigsby

Noxapater head football coach Roy Rigsby liked what he saw from his Tigers in an intrasquad scrimmage last Friday night.

“Overall It was really good,” Rigsby said. “We got the opportunity to see some of the younger kids. Those with less experience got a chance to show what they could do.”

Noxapater falls to Resurrection in playoffs

The Noxapater baseball season came to a close against a strong Resurrection Catholic team in the first round of the MHSAA Class 1A State Baseball playoffs last week.

The Tigers fell to Resurrection 14-4 on the road on Thursday, before dropping an 8-1 home contest to the Eagles on Friday to close out the season.
