Lady Tigers pick up three fast-pitch softball wins

After winning three of four games last week, the Noxapater fast-pitch softball team is set to host a couple of games this week, entertaining French Camp on Tuesday and West Point on Thursday.

Last week saw Noxapater defeat Ethel 8-6, and West Lowndes 13-1 and 17-5, while losing to French Camp 11-1.

Tigers take baseball win over West Lowndes

The Noxapater baseball team opened its week with an 18-12 region win over West Lowndes before dropping three straight to close out the week.

The Tigers lost to Nanih Waiya 11-4 on Tuesday and 10-0 on Friday before falling to Lake 12-3 on Saturday.

Nanih Waiya takes two baseball wins over Noxapater

After taking a pair of baseball games from arch-rival Noxapater last week, the Warriors of Nanih Waiya were set to visit West Point on Monday and Philadelphia on Friday this week.

The Warriors produced plenty of offense against Noxapater, winning 11-4 on Tuesday and 10-0 on Friday.

Lady Warriors clinch regular-season region softball title

The visiting Lady Warriors of Nanih Waiya broke a 3-3 tie by scoring four times in the fourth, then added two in the sixth inning to take a region-clinching 8-3 win over French Camp Academy on Monday night.
