Nanih Waiya boys, girls set for region tourney

The Nanih Waiya boys and girls basketball teams each went into the Region 5-1A tournament this week as the No. 4 seeds. Both the boys and girls were set to take on the top-seeded West Lowndes teams on Monday night in the tourney that is being played at McAdams High School.

Nanih Waiya head football coach James Courtney agreed, noting that Sanders’ worth-ethic, attitude, and athletic skill will make him a weapon for the HCC Bulldogs on the football field next season.
