The Tigers and Lady Tigers of Noxapater High School look to get on the winning track this week when they visit Clarkdale on Tuesday, weather permitting, and host Sebastopol on Thursday in midweek basketball contests.
Thursday’s junior varsity games begin at 4 p.m., with the varsity contests estimated to start at 6 p.m.
Last week saw the Noxapater squads fall to both Kosciusko and Union.
On Thursday the visiting Kosciusko boys took a 72-32 win, while the Lady Tigers fell 59-23.
Bryan Glass led the Tigers with eight points, while Kyle Phillips scored seven. Rayvyn Wagner led the Lady Tigers with five points, while Jenna Wilkes and Morgan Duran tossed in four each.
On Saturday the boys fell to Union 51-29 and the Lady Tigers were defeated 43-9.
K.D. Carter led the Noxapater boys with 13 points, while Ryan Whitfield hit for 11. Wagner led the Lady Tigers with four points, with Laney Boatner scoring three.
