Choctaw County School Board heard update on Charger Stadium

Rain, rain, go away! It’s been a few days on consistent rain, which makes it hard to do work on the future Chargers Stadium.

David Calvert with Machado Patano updated the Choctaw County School Board on the work being done on Charger Stadium. Calvert said so far, the east and west parking lots have been done and look very good.

Chargers split two with Eupora in the battle against Webster County

The Chargers split two games with Eupora last week as they continue with district play. The Chargers are currently third in the district behind their Webster County rivals, the Wolverines and the Eagles who are currently in first and second place.

French Camp fall to East Webster, defeat Leake County in mercy rules

The French Camp baseball team won two out of three games last week, including a big sweep in division play.

After falling 12-2 to East Webster on Monday, the Panthers took a pair of games from Leake County, winning 16-1 and 14-2 on Tuesday.

French Camp improved to 16-3 on the season and 7-1 in Division 5-1A play

Lady Panthers fall to Sebastopol in run rule

The French Camp softball team only got in one game last week.

The Lady Panthers dropped a 13-0 contest to division foe Sebastopol on Tuesday.

French Camp will play Noxapater on Friday and will play Leake County in a doubleheader on Friday.
