WA volleyball team picks up three more wins

It was a busy week for the Winston Academy volleyball team on the court as the Lady Patriots’ are winding down their 2020 schedule and it was filled with a lot of positives. The Lady Pats went 3-1 on the week and improved their record to 6-8 on the year. WA started the week by taking on West Lowndes in a match that they swept 3-0.

Lady Tigers claim two Saturday wins

Results wise, the young Noxapater Lady Tigers had a tough week on the volleyball court last week, but they continue to gain needed experience. This week Noxapater had a couple district games on the schedule, visiting Ethel on Tuesday and hosting Nanih Waiya on Thursday.

Vowell’s two-run single pushes Lady Pats past WCS

It’s the final week of the season and the Lady Patriot softball team of Winston Academy is pushing towards the north state tournament. The team finished up the regular season on Tuesday when they played Kirk Academy on Senior Night but the game happened after press time.
