The Choctaw County Board of Education dealt with routines issues during their October meeting, including:
• A lengthy consent agenda, including:
• Approval of workshop and conference requests.
• Approval of field trips.
• Approve the recommendation of Lauren Ivey as a Special Education Assistant Teacher for the remainder of the 2019-2020.
• Approve Sherry Hall as an afterschool tutor for ELA at WES to be paid with Title I funds.
• Approve request to purchase 80 Chromebooks for CCHS with District Maintenance Funds.
• Approve request to purchase 50 Chromebooks for AES with District Technology Funds.
• Approve the distribution of the Pepsico rebate money along with the Contract Obligation for the 3rd year of the Contract.
• Approve the recommendation for professional development for classroom management to be paid with Title 1 Funds.
• Approve Fortenberry and Ballard for one year as the auditing firm for the upcoming year.
