Chargers score big win on Homecoming

Football weather finally made an appearance, and the stands were beyond standing-room- only for homecoming, as the Choctaw County High School Chargers made a home stand, and scored a big win over the 3A Union Yellowjackets, with a final score of 39-6, as the Chargers proved to be dominant in all phases of the game.

Beard sworn in as Mayor of Weir

Chargers play to home crowd this past Friday night

Choctaw County High School Charger Head Coach, Jeff Roberts, stated, "It was good to finally get to play one at home," in reference to the gridiron contest against the 4A Kosciusko Whippets, this past Friday night, in a game that saw a lengthy delay due to lightning, with less than five minutes left in the first quarter.
