Veteran championship football coach M.C. Miller will be inducted into the Mississippi Association of Coaches Hall of Fame at 6 p.m. on Friday, June 21 at the Hilton Hotel in Jackson.
Joining Miller in the Hall of Fame Class of 2019 are Junior Graham, Geary Jackson, Kenny Robinson, and Ken Bramlett.
Miller won three MHSAA State Football Championships as a head coach, claiming the title at Noxubee County High School in 2008 and winning championships in 2013 and 2018.
Miller won multiple Coach of the Year Awards from several organizations, including the Jackson Clarion Ledger and was head coach in two all-star events, the 2003 Bernard Blackwell All-Star Classic and the 2010 Mississippi-Alabama All-Star Classic.
Miller is a graduate of Camille Street High School in Louisville and Alcorn State University. He then coached at 45 years, including multiple stints at Noxubee County and Louisville High School.
Another of the inductees, Graham, also has a Winston County connection. He was the head coach at Winston Academy for one season following successful stints at both Weir and Eupora High Schools as a head coach.
He led the Weir Lions to the MHSAA Class 1A State Championship in 2003.
