The historic French Camp Academy, which was established in 1885, is a thriving educational institution still today.
With 271 students in grades 7-12 FCA had continued strong academic performance in 2018, with their class averaging 21.5 on the ACT (state average is 18.6).
According to Principal Rusty McKnight, the greatest strength of the Academy is providing a strong academic package with a Christ-centered approach. He stated that the goal for their students is that they will embrace a love for Christ and develop a Christian World view by viewing all of life through the glasses of God's Truth.
In addition to a strong academic program, French Camp Academy has a successful athletic program, a growing choral program with a high school choir of 50-plus. And in 2018, students participated in mission trips to Mexico, New York City, Ft Worth, and Wales.
French Camp Academy now accommodates up to 170 boarding students, and provides a quality Christ-centered education and atmosphere, and is respected nationwide as an interdenominational Christian boarding school with a rich history of helping young people.
