Fulgham wins Soil and Water Conservation District scholarship

Justin Fulgham, a senior at Choctaw County High School, has been awarded the 2023 Choctaw County Soil and Water Conservation District scholarship. The scholarship is given each year and is open to any senior in Choctaw County that plans to major in agriculture or a major that is agriculture related.

Toddlers find rhythm, joy in drumming circle

The rhythmic beats echoing through Eupora Head Start were not from a typical school day soundtrack. Instead, these beats were the heart and soul of a drumming circle led by local enthusiast Janet Cook, who brought her passion and percussion to preschoolers on a sunny Tuesday morning April 16.
