The Nanih Waiya basketball teams only got in one game last week and dropped a pair of games to Kemper County.
The Lady Warriors fell 44-25 while the Warriors dropped a 72-42 contest to the Wildcats.
Nanih Waiya has three games scheduled for this week as they will host Philadelphia on Monday and Hamilton on Tuesday and finish the week on Thursday as they play at Philadelphia.
Kemper County boys 72, Nanih Waiya 42
The Wildcats started fast and finished strong and took a 30-point win over the Warriors last week.
Kemper jumped out to a 19-7 lead in the first period while Nanih Waiya outscored the Wildcats 12-10 in the second and trailed 29-19 at the half. Kemper stretched its lead out in the second half as they outscored Nanih Waiya 19-14 in the third and 24-9 in the fourth period.
Jake Vick led Nanih Waiya with 14 points while Preston Prewitt had 12 points. Briceton Boler had six points while Mason Boyd and Eli Stanton had five points apiece.

The Lady Wildcats outscored the Lady Warriors in every period and took a 19-point win.
Kemper led just 8-6 at the end of the first and then outscored Nanih Waiya 13-4 in the second period to lead 21-10 at the half. Kemper continued to extend its lead in the second half and outscored Nanih Waiya 14-7 in the third and 9-8 in the fourth to take the win.
Morgan Mills led Nanih Waiya with 11 points while Zandy Eiland with seven points while Nyshea Hoskin had five points.
