The Noxapater baseball team got in three games last week and struggled to get a win.
The Tigers were swept in division play by French Camp, falling 11-0 and 19-2 to the Panthers. The Tigers also dropped a 15-6 contest to Louisville.
French Camp 11, Noxapater 0
The Panthers broke loose with eight runs in the third inning and took a five-inning, run-rule win over the Tigers on Friday to sweep the series.
French Camp scored two in the first, eight in the third and finished with one n the fourth to take the win.
French Camp outhit Noxapater 12-2 in the contest. Kaden Carter was 2-for-2 while James Kugle also singled.
Kugle pitched all four innings on the mound and gave up 11 runs on 12 hits and three walks while striking out four.
French Camp 19, Noxapater 2
The Panthers broke free with 14 runs in the last two innings to take a five-inning, run-rule win over the Tigers on Saturday.
French Camp scored five in the first while Noxapater answered with one in the first and second. After a scoreless third, French Camp scored seven in the fourth and fifth innings.
French Camp outhit Noxapater 17-4 in the contest. James Kugle singles and scored while Ethan Jones singled and drove in a run. TJ Jones singled and scored while Kaden Carter had Noxapater’s other hit.
Braxton Daughtery started on the mound and pitched 2/3 of an inning, giving up five runs on three hits and three walks. Brady Ellison pitched the next 2 2/3 innings and gave up for urns on six hits and two walks. Jones pitched an inning and gave up nine runs on five hits and four walks while Cooper McMullen pitched the last 2/3 of an inning and gave up one run on three hits while striking out two.
Louisville 15, Noxapater 6
The Wildcats took an early lead and scored in six of the seven innings to take a nine-run win over the Tigers on Monday.
Louisville scored two in the first and four in the second and third. Noxapater scored all six of its runs in the third to cut the leads to 10-6. But Louisville added one in the fifth and seventh and three in the sixth.
Noxapater had seven hits as James Kugle was 2-for-3. Luke Welborn singled and drove in two runs and also drew two walks. Ethan Jones singled and drove in two runs while Caleb Ellinburg and Kaden Carter each singled and scored. Cxxx Bennett also singled and drove in a run.
Braxton Daughtery started on the mound and pitched 2 2/3 innings and gave up 10 runs on five hits and four walks while striking out three. Brady Ellison pitched the last 4 1/3 innings and gave up five runs on six hits and four walks while striking out two.
