During their regular monthly meeting, on Tuesday, May 14, the Weir Board of Aldermen heard from Bobby Jobe concerning an ongoing problem with a water leak at his residence on Gladney St.
The Board assured Jobe that the situation would be looked into at the earliest opportunity.
In other action, the Board:
• Voted 3-0 to renew the Town’s surplus property application and place the names of all Aldermen on the list, with Town Clerk Cyndy Josey as the contact person. Aldermen Mike Henson and Steve Wright were not present at the meeting.
• Voted 3-0 to appoint Kevin Null as Judge Pro Tem for the June 11 session of court.
