The Choctaw County School District Board of Trustees dealt with a number of routine matters, which were all approved unanimously, during their monthly meeting held on Monday, November 11.
The Board approved the following workshop and conference requests:

• Ashley Fondren to Prostart Teacher Meeting in Ridgeland, MS on December 3, 2019.
• Teachers from each school to Building Classroom Capacity in Oxford, MS on December 5, 2019.
• Samantha Kelly to Building a Classroom Capacity in Oxford, MS on December 5, 2019.
• Kim Maxwell to EMCED Special Education Directors Meeting in Meridian, MS on November 12, 2019.
• Kim Maxwell to Special Education Directors Quarterly Meeting in Jackson, MS on November 1, 2019.
• Kim Maxwell to Pre-Conference Symposium MAP Head Start in Jackson, MS on November 6, 2019.
• Maureen Power to Educational Stability of Students in Foster Care in Vicksburg, MS on November 14, 2019.

The Board also unanimously approved a lengthy consent agenda and financial reports. The Board meets on the second Monday of each month at 7 p.m.
