During their last scheduled meeting of 2019, held on Tuesday, December 3, the Ackerman Board of Aldermen took up several routine matters including:
• A 5-0 vote to approve Renasant Bank to handle bank depositories.
• A 5-0 vote to approve a resolution to apply for a GTPPD/Rural Development Grant for the purchase of a dump truck.
• A 5-0 vote to approve the donation of 2.2 acres of land northeast of Seward St., along the railroad tracks, from Ray Mabus.
• A 5-0 vote to approve travel for Joey Green to the MS Rural Water Association, in Raymond, MS, on January 14-16, 2020.
The next scheduled meeting of the Ackerman Board of Aldermen is Tuesday, January 7 at 5:30 p.m.
