Two Louisville teens, a Starkville teen and a juvenile have been arrested in Starkville after police received a report of a group beaking into vehicles. Shy Pittman, 18, of Starkville have been charged with possession of a stolen firearm, eight auto burglaries, possession of a controlled substance and disorderly conduct; Montrikius Idom, has been charged. With possession of a stolen firearm and eight auto burglaries; Jermarium Yates, 19, of Louisville has been charged with eight auto burglaries and an unidentified juvenile male, 16, has. Been charged with eight auto burglaries and curfew violation. According to a post by the Starkville Police Department, officers were called to The Pines Manufactured Home and RV Community, located in the 1000 block of Louisville Stree at 1:47 a.m. on Sunday, June 23. The report stated that officers were able to set up a perimeter to apprehend all four teens. It also stated that the two stolen guns were reported stolen out of Louisville. “It is testament to our officers' courage that they regularly respond to criminal activities with armed suspects. We are especially grateful to the members of our community who took action and reported this suspicious activity,” the report stated.
