Man found in middle of road Saturday night

The Winston County Sheriff’s Department responded to an accident on Saturday, March 5 that left a man in critical condition.

A 29-year-old Choctaw native American pedestrian was discovered on Garrigues Road around 11:30 p.m. by passerbys. The accident victim was reported as in critical condition in a Jackson Hospital.

The Mayor and the Board of Alderman in Louisville will be hosting a Community Conversation meeting. This meeting will be opened to the public and will begin at 5:30 p.m., March 10 at the Dome Community Safe Room.
