Sgt. Lawrence “Q-Dell” Caradine has been named interim chief of the Eupora Police Department.
The Board of Aldermen appointed him to the position effective Oct. 1 during a special-called meeting Sept. 14. The motion by Jerry Gary (at-large) and second by Robert Gibbs (Ward 4) to do so was approved 4-0; Billy Tabb (Ward 2) was absent.
