With a division championship on the line, things didn’t look well for the Nanih Waiya Lady Warriors after a 4-2 loss to Choctaw County on Monday.

But the Lady Warriors bounced back and took a 12-2 win over the Lady Chargers on Thursday to split the series and earn the tiebreaker advantage.

The Nanih Waiya baseball team grabbed two out of three wins this past week on the diamond.

Nanih Waiya took an 8-7 walk-off win over French Camp on Monday when Eli Stanton stole home to give the Warriors the win.

The Warriors then beat rival Noxapater 17-0 on Thursday before falling 10-0 to 2A power Lake on Saturday.

Nanih Waiya Warriors prepare for FC and Noxapater

Nanih Waiya split a pair of games this past week in a big division series with Eupora.

The Eagles took game one of the series 9-8 on Tuesday while the Warriors bounced back on Friday to win 14-11.

Noxapater Lady Tigers earn big wins

The Noxapater Lady Tigers won three out of four games this past week.

The Lady Tigers swept a pair from McAdams, winning 20-3 and 23-0 and then beat Newton 16-4. Their lone was to Ethel 12-2.

The Lady Tigers are scheduled to host French Camp on Thursday and play at Newton on Friday.
