Sedrick Taylor won the special election runoff for a vacant seat on the Maben Board of Aldermen. The runoff election for the position of alderman was held Tuesday, Sept. 3. Taylor won the runoff with 42 votes, or 52%, while opponent Roy Holland garnered 26 votes, or 32%, according to results released by City Clerk Lisa Wynn.
