Around 2 a.m., Saturday, August 28, Choctaw County Sheriff's Department received notification of a gunshot victim, Jennetta Hughes, who had been transported to Winston Medical Center in Louisville.

According to witnesses, the incident occurred in Choctaw County near the Spay Road and Weir-Highpoint Road intersection.
