Sunday storms cause damage

In addition to the usual religious observances, Easter Sunday saw a series of potentially deadly storms visiting the area. The system that stretched from north Mississippi to the southern part of the state brought waves of high winds and torrential rains that flooded a number of roads in different parts of the county.

Suspect charged with murder in Ivy Apartments shooting

At approximately 9:16 p.m. this past Friday, Louisville Police officers responded to the report of a shooting in the parking lot of Ivy Apartments on Ivy Avenue.

Malik Hudson, 23, of Houston, Texas was allegedly shot by Michael D. Jones, 40, of Gulfport, Mississippi, while trying to exit the parking lot.
