Tornado strikes Southern part of county

According to Winston County Emergency Management Director, Jimmy Lovorn, the storm that caused severe damage to the southern part of the county on Wednesday night, April 13, has been confirmed as an EF-1 tornado, which can have winds speeds reaching 120 mph.

Winston County Chamber to host events

The annual Winston County Chamber of Commerce Awards Banquet will be held at The Mason Boutique Hotel in downtown Louisville on Thursday, April 28. The banquet will begin at 6 p.m. with an awards ceremony beginning at 7 p.m.

Plott bridges gap between ministry and law enforcement
