French Camp's opportunity to finish first in Region 5-1A was lost when the Panthers dropped two games to Ethel last week, 13-3 and 8-2.
The first game was tied 3-3 after one inning, but French Camp was scoreless the rest of the way while Ethel added two runs in the second, five in the fourth and three in the sixth.
