French Camp takes two wins over Noxapater

French Camp had a tough loss to East Webster and two easy wins against Noxapater last week. After an 8-5 loss to East Webster, the Panthers defeated Noxapater 14-0 and 26-10.

The wins over Noxapater evened French Camp's record in Region 5-1A play at 2-2.

CCHS' Kirkwood, Maxwell headed to next level

The leading scorers for Choctaw County's championship boys and girls basketball teams will continue their careers at the junior college level. In a ceremony at the school last week, Akeem Kirkwood signed with Itawamba Community College and Brysa Maxwell with Holmes Community College.
