The Chargers and Lady Chargers were back in action as they began play with the Ethel Tigers on Saturday in Ethel. The Chargers walked away victorious defeating both teams. Then, on Tuesday, they were back at the Cobb as they battled it out with the Kosciusko Whippets.

Friday, the green ribbon was cut as the newest Bank of Kilmichael branch in Ackerman was welcomed by Mayor Dale Reid, Chamber Director Amanda McBride and Economic Development President Lee James.

Buddy Mortimer, CEO of Bank of Kilmichael said the bank has been talking about coming to Choctaw County for quite some time.
