The Town of Weir is hiring a third police officer that will work nights and weekends in an effort to deter what’s been happening in the town.
The town is still reeling from the early Christmas morning death of Willie “Ray” Meaders and working to keep people from moving out of town because of the break-ins that’s been happening.
