In the first meeting of March, held on Monday, April 5, the Choctaw County Board of Supervisors approved advertising for a new fire truck which will be located near the EcoPlex.
The measure was approved on a 4-0 vote; Supervisor Mark Bruce was not present at the meeting.
In other action, the Board:
•Discussed the 2021 road plan.
•Voted 4-0 to approve an inter-fund transfer of $50 which was a refund from the state.
•Heard a report from Sheriff Brandon Busby that the litter crew picked up 506 bags of litter in March.
•Voted 4-0 to approve solid waste deletions, assessments and adjustments
•Voted 4-0 to approve new airport insurance with Kimmel Insurance $1.59K/year.
•Voted 4-0 to approve inventory deletions and reassignments.
•Voted 4-0 to approve claims and payroll.
•Voted 4-0 to approve the jail inspection and ash report.
The next scheduled meeting of the Board of Supervisors is Monday, April 19 at 9 a.m.
