Louisville visits Leake Central on Tuesday before hosting the Gators on Friday. The Wildcats travel to Pearl Saturday.
Both teams finished with 10 hits and two errors apiece.
"We bought in as a team, and we played hard and left all we had on the field," Louisville coach Kylie Ming said. "I could not have asked for anything else from my guys. We came up short against a really good team."
With two hits apiece, Orian Evans and Takobe Johnson gave the Wildcats two multi-hit batters. Shemar Eiland, Dre Shumaker, Deonte Yarbrough, Jace Hudspeth, Rooper Stoots and Braylon White all added singles.
White smacked a team-high three RBIs, and Eiland finished with two. Camden Sanders, Yarbrough, Hudspeth, Stoots and White each ended with one RBI.
Shumaker added two stolen bases, while Evans and Johnson each contributed one swiped bag.
Yarbrough started at pitcher, and he yielded nine hits and seven earned runs. He fanned five New Hope hitters.
Louisville ended the week in the victory column as a three-run fifth inning lifted the Wildcats to a 5-3 win against Neshoba Central.
Hudspeth led the way with three hits. Evan added two hits, while Eiland, Sanders and Stoots pitched in with one hit apiece. Yarbrough drew a team-high two walks.
Johnson grabbed the win on the mound, as he struck out two, walked two and allowed just two earned runs over seven innings.
"I was concerned how my guys would handle the loss to New Hope the night before, and if they had anything left in the tank after the New Hope game, but they came out and once again played hard as a team," Ming said. "And even though we had some mistakes, they kept on playing as a team and pulling for one another, and we pulled out a big win against Neshoba. I'm excited to see how the rest of the year goes with this team."
