Nanih Waiya baseball coach Tyler Rogers said this spring has been one of the wettest he has ever seen.
The Warriors have played just three games this season, winning all three as they head into division play this week.
“It’s been terrible,” Rogers said. “It’s one of the wettest springs I have ever seen. We have had some bad ones, but this one is the worst. Hopefully, we will get some good weather and can get some games in.”
The Warriors, the two-time defending Class 1A champions, will kick off that division schedule this week as they host McAdams in a doubleheader on Tuesday, starting at 5 p.m.
On Friday, the Warriors will host Kosciusko in a non-division contest starting at 6 p.m. and will then host Winona on Saturday in a 1 p.m. contest.
The Warriors will continue division play the next week as they play French Camp in a two-game series. Game 1 of the series in Tuesday at French Camp at 6 p.m. while game 2 of the series is Friday at Nanih Waiya at 6 p.m.
