A pair of Choctaw County High School seniors will take part in the Northeast Mississippi Coaches Association All-Star Football-Game set for Northeast Mississippi Community College on Wednesday at 6 p.m.
Teliak Davis and Julius Buggs were both defensive linemen for the Chargers this past season. Davis weight in at 6-foot, 250, while Buggs played at 5-10, 275. Teammate Dre Medders was also chosen for the contest but was unable to attend.
The players reported to practice on Monday in preparation for the Wednesday contest. The South team, of which Davis and Buggs are members, will be coached by Stephen Edwards of Eupora High School.
Other area players taking part in the contest are as follows: Edwin Herard of Eupora; Keevon Patterson, Noah Hatcher, and Hunter Dendy of East Webster; Jakob Welch, Jalen Campbell, and Jay Lofton of Winona; and Nash Vanlandingham of Winston Academy.
Adam Dillinger, former CCHS head coach and athletic director, serves as scout coach for the South.
