The Warriors of Nanih Waiya High School dropped a hard-fought boys basketball contest to visiting East Webster by the score of 58-57 last Tuesday.
In the girls game, NW held a 12-8 lead at the end of the first quarter before falling 59-48.
Trey McMullan and Rico Moore led the NW boys with 14 points each, while Tyquan McCully scored 10 and Ethan Dailey and Izaiaha Nicholson hit for eight each.
In the girls game, Ambria Tubby pumped in 25 points for the Lady Warriors, while Taina Thompson added six.
Nanih Waiya was set to visit Kemper Academy on Monday and host J.Z> George on Tuesday before paying a visit to Sebastopol on Thursday.
