The French Camp softball team fell to 1-5 with losses to Sebastopol 9-6 and Nanih Waiya 14-2.
Against Sebastopol, The Lady Panthers scored four runs in the top of the fifth to cut the deficit to 7-6, but Sebastopol answered with two in the bottom of the fifth.
“Everyone overall had a good hitting night. We just started hitting too late,” said coach Sarah Skidmore.
Caroline Anderson had three hits and two RBIs, Brookelyn Box tripled and drove in one run and Lucy Scott had one hit and two RBIs.
“Against Nanih Waiya, we didn't show up to play. We could not get out bats on the ball,” Skidmore said. “We had multiple errors in the field and overall just not not play our best.”
The Lady Panthers managed two hits by Kayla Till and Abby Leathers.
French Camp were to play West Lowndes Monday and Noxapater Tuesday.
