A year ago, Lake eliminated Eupora from the Class 2A playoffs en route to an appearance in the 2A title game.
This year, the Lady Eagles turned the tables on Lake. Eupora took a 5-0 win in Game 1 of the series on Friday and then finished it off with a 10-0 win on Monday.
Eupora was set to return to action on Tuesday as they travel to Riverside for a doubleheader.
Eupora 10, Lake 0
The Lady Eagles finished out the series on Monday with a run-rule win over the Lady Hornets. Eupora scored five in the third, two in the second and three in the third.
Eupora was led at the plate by Haley Farley, who was 3-for-4 with two doubles and three RBIs. Harper Doggett pitched all five innings for the Lady Eagles, giving up just one hit with two walks and one strikeout.
Eupora 5, Lake 0
The Lady Eagles got a shutout performance from Harper Doggett to take Game 1 of the series on Friday. Eupora scored two in the first and three in the second.
Eupora outhit Lake 6-4 in the game. Haley McCrory was 2-for-3 and scoreda. Run while Kylee Richardson doubled and scored a run. Alley Reed had two walks and scored a run while Patience Bingham singled and scored a run.
Doggett pitched all seven innings and scattered four hits and three walks to pick up the win.
Calhoun City 3, Eupora 2
The Lady Wildcats took a one-run win over the Lady Eagles in the regular-season finale for both teams.
Calhoun scored single runs in the third, fourth and sixth innings while Eupora scored two in the sixth.
Calhoun outhit Eupora 10-3 in the contest. Maleah Pogue, Addison Mason and Haley McCrory each had singles while Patience Bingham and Macey Ray each scored runs for Eupora.
Harper Doggett pitched all six innings for the Lady Eagles, giving up three runs, only two earned on 10 hits and one walk while striking out three.
