In typical East Webster and Eupora fashion, a fast-pitch softball game turned into a classic Webster County battle.
Eupora had to hold off a late rally by East Webster and got a diving catch from Haley Farley to end the game and take a 7-6 win on Thursday night.
Eupora will play a pair of road games this week as they play at Vardaman on Tuesday and at Choctaw County on Friday.
East Webster will travel to Bruce on Tuesday and host Calhoun City on Thursday. The Lady Wolverines will travel to Louisville on Friday to finish out the week and will travel to Eupora next Tuesday in a rematch with the Lady Eagles.
