The East Webster Wolverines stayed unbeaten in Division 2-2A play as they swept a pair of games from rival Eupora.
The Wolverines shut out the Eagles 10-0 on Tuesday and then took a 9-6 win on Friday in their only action of the week.
East Webster will return to action this week as they travel to Calhoun City on Tuesday for a 5 p.m contest. On Thursday, the Wolverines will host Oak Hill Academy before they host Calhoun City on Friday.
East Webster 9, Eupora 6
The Wolverines had 13 hits and took a three-run win over the Eagles on Friday.
East Webster scored two in the second and sixth with single runs in the third and fifth while scoring three in the fourth. Eupora scored all of its runs in the fourth inning.
East Webster had 13 hits in the contest as John Wesley Hardin was 2-for-3 with a double and two runs scored. Cameron Pilgrim was 2-for-4 with a double while Jon Austin Roberts and Jesse Roberts was 2-for-3. Sloan Hillhouse was 2-for-2 with a double while Wes Silver had a two-run home run. Hastings Gibson had two walks and scored two runs while Gavin Edwards had two RBIs. Jesse Roberts and Jon Austin Roberts each had two stolen bases.
Eupora had just five hits as Reed Hale went 2-for-3 and scored a run. Tanner Fletcher singled and drove in two runs while Drew Tabb scored a run and had two RBIs. Parker Knight and Landon Davis also singled and scored a run.
Kainan Reed got the start for the Wolverines on the mound and pitched three innings and gave up three runs on one hit and four walks while striking out seven. Jon Austin Roberts pitched the final four innings and gave up four runs while giving up three runs on four hits and a walk while striking out six.
Cade Adkins pitched the first four innings for Eupora and gave up six runs on six hits and two walks while striking out four.

The Wolverines got a dominant pitching performance from Gray McCarter and took a six-inning shutout win over the Eagles on Tuesday.
East Webster scored four in the first, one in the third, three in the fourth and two in the sixth.
Jase Grantham was 3-for-4 with a triple and two runs scored while Wes Silver was 2-for-2 with a home run, two walks, two runs scored and three RBIs. Cameron Pilgrim was 2-for-3 with a double and three runs scored. Hastings Gibson was 2-for-4 with two runs scored and two RBIs while Sloan Hillhouse had two RBIs.
Parker Knight had Eupora’s only hit.
McCarter picked up the win for the Wolverines, going all six innings and giving up just one hit and three walks while striking out seven.
