It took three games but the Lake Lady Hornets finally eliminated the Eupora Lady Eagles.
Lake took Game 1 of the series 5-3 while Eupora bounced back to take Game 2 7-3 to even the series. Lake then allowed just one hit in Game 3 to take a 7-0 win and take the series.
Eupora finished the season with a 20-3 record.

Lake scored four runs in the bottom of the fifth inning and took a two-run win on Tuesday in Game 1 of the North 2A series.
Lake scored one run in the bottom of the first before Eupora answered with one in the second and two in the third. The score stayed 3-1 until the bottom of the sixth when the Lady Hornets scored four runs to take the win.
Eupora outhit Lake 5-4 but committed six errors in the field. Kylie Richardson had a double and drove in two runs while Maleah Pogue singled and scored twice. Allie Reed singled and walked twice while Addison Mason singled and drove in a run.
Delta Claire Newman got the start in the circle and gave up five runs, only one earned, on four hits and two walks while striking out six.

Eupora scored four runs in the second inning and held that lead to take a Game 2 win on Saturday.
Lake scored single runs in the first, fourth and seventh innings. Eupora scored four in the second, one in the third and two in the fifth.
Eupora had 12 hits in the contest as Haley Farley was 3-for-4 with a double, triple and three RBIs. Allie Reed was 2-for-2 with a triple, two runs scored and two RBIs. Addison Mason was 2-for-2 while Maleah Pogue was 2-for-3 with a double.
Delta Claire Newman got the start in the circle and picked up the win as she scattered five hits and six walks while striking out 10.

After splitting the first two games, the Lady Hornets took Game 3 of the series to advance in the playoffs.
The game was scoreless until the sixth inning when Lake plated six runs. The Lady Hornets added another run in the seventh for their final run.
Eupora had just one hit, a double by Kylie Richardson, who also drew two walks. Allie Reed also drew three walks as Eupora drew eight in the game.
Delta Claire Newman got the start and pitched all seven innings, giving up seven runs, only two earned, on four hits and four walks while striking out five.
