The Noxapater boys lost a pair of hard-fought contests in Region 5-1A play last week, falling to McAdams 57-55 and Ethel 49-43.
In girls action Ethel won 36-12 and McAdams claimed a 54-14 victory.
Noxapater was set to close out its regular season this week by visiting Nanih Waiya on Tuesday and league-leading West Lowndes on Friday.
D.J. Kelly pumped in 24 points to lead the Tigers in the tight loss to McAdams, while Ryan Whitfield scored nine.
Kelly again led the way for Noxapater against Ethel, scoring 18 points Freshman Kyle Phillips tossed in 13 for the Tigers.
In the girls game, McAdams led 30-10 at the half. For the game, Asia Glass scored five for Noxapater and Jenna Wilkes 4.
Wilkes and Rayvyn Wagner scored four each for Noxapater in the loss to Ethel.
