Grace Christian had three easy wins last week to improve to 12-3. The Eagles defeated Kemper Academy 11-1, New Summit of Jackson 16-0, and Calhoun Academy 13-3.
Isaac Miller, Alex Taylor and Grant Bontrager all had two hits against Kemper Academy. Wes Agnew doubled with four RBIs and two runs scored and Bontrager was the winning pitcher. He allowed four hits in five innings, with five strikeouts and two walks.
Taylor led the Eagles against New Summit with two singles and a double, two RBIs and two runs scored in a game that lasted only three innings. Brandon Mast homered, Kyle Borntrager scored two runs and drove in two and Clay Crowder did the pitching, allowing one hit with three strikeouts.
Agnew was four for four against Calhoun Academy, scored three runs and drove in two. Justin Mast had a double and two singles with three RBIs and Miller had two hits and scored three times. Brandon Mast gave up one earned run on two hits in five innings, with five strikeouts.
Grace Christian played Starkville Christian Tuesday and will be on the road Thursday for a game with Jackson Victory.
