Eupora softball coach Amir Hunt says his Lady Eagles are just having fun. Of course, winning is always fun.
The Lady Eagles remained unbeaten on the season as they took a 10-8 win over Calhoun city on thursday and a 12-4 win over Bruce on Tuesday.
The Lady Eagles, now 10-0 on the season, have three games scheduled for this week. They will host Calhoun City on Monday and travel to Ethel on Tuesday in a non-division contest. The Lady Eagles will finish off the week with a key 2-2A contest at East Webster on Thursday.

Calhoun City 8
Eupora outscored Calhoun City 6-4 in the eighth inning to take a two-run win over the Wildcats on Thursday.
Eupora scored one in the first and second innings and the game was tied 2-2 after three innings. The Lady Eagles went up 4-2 in the fifth before Calhoun scored one in the fifth and sixth to tie score.
Eupora had nine hits in the contest as Haley Farley was 2-for-5 with three RBIs. Bri Davidson had a double with two runs scored and three RBIs. Kylie Richardson was 2-for-4 with two doubles and scored a run. Savannah Kilpatrick had a triple and drove in a run. Delta Newman had a single and drove in a run while Haley McCrory walked twice and drove in a run.
Newman pitched all eight innings and gave up seven runs on seven hits while striking out six and walking eight.

Bruce 4
The Lady Eagles pounded out 16 hits and scored in every inning but one in an eight-run win over the Lady Trojans.
Eupora scored one in the first, two in the second and three in the third to lead 6-1 after three. The Lady Eagles then scored one in the fourth, two in the fifth and three in the seventh.
Maleah Pogue was 3-for-5 with three runs scored while Christina Boren was 2-for-4 and drove in four runs. Delta Newman was 3-for-4 with a home run and two RBIs while Addison Mason was 2-for-4 with two RBIs. Kylie Richardson was 2-for-3 with two runs scored. Allie Reed had a double and scored two runs while Savannah Kilpatrick had a home run and scored twice.
Newman pitched seven innings and gave up four runs on four hits and five hits while striking out eight.
