The Eupora basketball teams were set to host a pair of basketball events this week, entertaining Houston on Tuesday and Winona on Friday.
The Eagles fell 57-37 to Northside and 75-60 to Bruce while the Lady Eagles fell 30-26 to Northside and 45-37 to Bruce.

The Gators jumped out to a big lead in the first period and cruised to a 20-point win over the Eagles in a Division 2-2A contest.
Northside got off to a quick start as they led 25-10 at the end of the first period. Eupora outscored Northside 13-7 in the second to cut the lead to 32-23 at the half. But the Gators outscored the Eagles in each period in the second half, taking the third period 12-5 and the fourth 13-9 for the final margin.
Jarrean Patterson led Eupora with 15 points while Zak Morris had nine points.

The Lady Gators used a 7-3 advantage in the fourth period to take a four-point win over the Lady Eagles.
Eupora led 9-7 at the end of the first but trailed 17-15 at the half. The Lady Eagles outscored the Lady Gators 8-6 in the third to tie the score at 23-23 at the half.
Takiyah Townsend and Kyla Patterson each had seven points apiece for Eupora.
Bruce boys 75,

The Trojans built a big lead in the first half and held on to take a 15-point win over the Eagles.
Bruce jumped out to a 27-8 lead in the fist period and led 47-23 at the half. The Eagles fought back in the second half as they outscored the Trojans 19-18 in the third and 18-10 in the fourth for the final margin.
D.J. Patterson led Eupora with 16 points while Jarrean Patterson had 13 points. Corey Simmons also had 10 points for the Eagles.
Bruce girls 45,

The Lady Trojans outscored the Lady Eagles in three out of the four periods and took a tight eight-point win over the Lady Eagles.
Bruce led 8-6 at the end of the first and outscored Eupora 16-12 in the second for a 24-18 advantage at the half. Eupora outscored Bruce 6-4 in the third to cut the lead to 28-24 before Bruce finished off the game with a 17-13 fourth period to take the win.
Takiyah Townsend led Eupora with 11 points while Princess Carr had 10 points and Kyla Patterson added six points.
