It was a rough week for the Eupora Lady Eagles on the basketball courts.
Eupora lost all three games it played last week, falling 63-36 to Choctaw County, 24-21 to Winona and 60-18 to Senatobia.
The Eupora boys lost 75-40 to Winona while scores were not available by press deadline for their other games.
Eupora has three games scheduled for this week as they will host Calhoun City on Tuesday and then rival East Webster on Thursday. The Eupora boys will then travel to Calhoun City on Saturday.
Choctaw County girls 63, Eupora 36
The Lady Chargers outscored the Lady Eagles in every period to take a 27-point win on Tuesday.
Choctaw led 17-8 at the end of the first and 35-21 at the half. Choctaw continued to extend the lead in the second half, outscoring. Eupora 11-10 in the third and 17-5 in the fourth.
Princess Carr led Eupora with 15 points while M’Nyjah Young and Artierra Hill each had five points apiece.
Winona girls 24, Eupora 21
The Lady Eagles fell behind early but dropped a three-point loss to the Lady Tigers.
Winona led 8-2 at the end of the first and 13-7 at the half. Eupora outscored Winona 9-6 in the third to trail 19-16 at the end of the third. Each team scored five points in the fourth for the final margin.
M’Nyjah Young led Eupora 11 points.
Senatobia girls 60, Eupora 18
The Lady Warriors outscored Eupora in every period to take a 42-point win.
Senatobia led 18-7 at the end of the first and 37-11 at the half. Senatobia outscored Eupora 12-4 in the third and 11-3 in the fourth.
Princess Carr led Eupora with seven points.
