The Eupora Eagles opened the season with a pair of losses, falling 5-1 to Winston Academy and 6-3 to West Point.
Eupora is scheduled to play three games next week as they travel to French Camp on Tuesday and to Vardaman on Thursday. They will host Leflore County on Friday in a doubleheader to open division 2-2A play.

The Eagles opened the season on Wednesday, suffering a four-run loss to the Patriots.
Winston scored one in the third and four in the fourth for their runs while Eupora scored one run in the seventh.
Eupora had just three hits in the contest. Landon Davis had a single and drove in a run while Carter May and Cade Adkins also had RBIs. Davis, May and Ty Murphy also had stolen bases.
Reed Hale got the start and pitched 2 1/3 innings, giving up one unearned run on two hits and two walks while striking out two. Tanner Fletcher pitched 1 2/3 innings and gave up four runs on four hits and three walks. Chris Robinson pitched the final two innings, giving up one hit while striking out three.

The Green Wave built a four-run lead and held on to take a three-run win over the Eagles on Friday.
West Point scored two in the first, second and fifth innings. Eupora scored one in the third and two in the sixth inning.
Eupora had seven hits in the game as Carter May and Landon Davis were each 2-for-4 with a run scored. Parker Knight was 2-for-4 while Ty Murphy singled and drove in a run. Tanner Fletcher scored a run while Cade Adkins had an RBI.
